March is Reading Month

Our class is excited to celebrate March is Reading Month this year! All throughout the month, we will be doing fun reading activities, learning about different authors, reading TONS of books, and celebrating all of our reading growth so far this year!

On Friday, March 22, our class will be having a March is Reading Month breakfast and we would love to have your help! You can sign up to bring (or send in) one of the themed-breakfast items on the sign-up, and you are also welcome to join us for a relaxed morning of eating breakfast and reading a few of our favorite books.

In addition to our activities, I would LOVE to do some fun book-themed snacks for the kiddos on random days throughout the month – you get to pick the date when you’d like to send in your snack! I put a few different ideas on the sign-up sheet, but if you would like to bring in (or send in) a different book-themed snack, PLEASE go for it!!! If you have a free moment and would like to stop in and read the book that goes along with your snack before we eat it, that would be even more amazing!

Both of these “March is Reading Month” activities are completely optional, but our class of little readers would be thrilled to see you supporting our fun month of reading and growing together this March!
